Dataset of Green HRM practices and Green Transformational leadership on Employee ecological behavior of academicians in Malaysia

In order to assess the potential link between green human resource management practices, green transformational leadership, and employee ecological behavior, a regression analysis was conducted using the Statistical Package of Social Sciences (SPSS) 28. The data was obtained through a cross-sectional survey of 208 university lecturers in Malaysia, with a purposive sample selected for the study. This article provides insight into the participants' demographics and descriptive data on their responses. Additionally, it includes information on the mean, standard deviation, and reliability of the measured constructs, as well as a summary of the regression analysis model. These findings can be used to guide top management in higher education institutions and commercial organizations in promoting ecologically friendly behavior among employees, particularly those in academia, to help reduce environmental degradation.
