16S rRNA gene V3-V4 amplicon for microbiome of Araguaia MTB

Magnetotactic bacteria are Gram-negative, ubiquitous, aquatic, flagellated, microaerophilic or anaerobic microorganisms exhibiting magnetotactic behavior, as magnetosomes biomineralization is the structural signature of the group. Magnetosomes are ferrimagnetic nanocrystals surrounded by a lipid bilayer, which are usually aligned in chain within the cell. Thus, our results reported the first evidence of MTB in sediments sampled from Araguaia River floodplain, in the Amazon-Cerrado biome.
