The project will deliver tailored extension programs and on-ground incentives to landholders
in the Namoi Catchment to rebuild landscape scale corridors, inclusive of those in priority
riparian zones, and increase the extent of Regional Vegetation Communities (RVCs) where
they are approaching resilience thresholds or ‘tipping points’ of either 70% and 30% canopy
cover. By addressing both national and regional priorities this project will further underpin a
more connected and functional biodiversity ecosystem in the Namoi Catchment.
