The WESTSIDE_GMA2022_PHASE_1 2D seismic campaign was designed to improve the understanding of the local and regional-scale structural framework, subsurface coal seam architecture and the geological influences on the distribution of the target coal seams.

Key objectives include:
Identification of seismic-scale faulting to de-risk planned development drilling operations.
Identify possible seam splits/merges along these acquired lines for the coal seams of the Baralaba Coal Measures.
Infill the existing regional seismic grid to improve resolution of the depth structure surfaces for the key target seams.
Ultimately these survey data guide the initial structural framework used to build a reliable static reservoir model to aid successful well planning and execution whilst reducing costly out of seam drilling events.
