资源简介:
Data from 274 patients diagnosed with Myalgic Encephalomyelitis/Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (ME/CFS) during treatment at a Melbourne specialist clinic during 2011-2013. Microbial composition from stool analyses from the patient's large colon are presented for anaerobic (Bacteroides, Bifidobacterium, Clostridium, Eubacterium, and Lactobacillus) and aerobic genera (Escherichia Coli, Streptococcus, Enterococcus). Exponent values reflect microbial frequency (viable count) in colony-forming units per gram (CFU/g). The predigit values are also presented for completeness. The percentage of each genus shows the proportion calculated against respective anaerobic/aerobic genera identified during faecal microbial assesment. The relative abundance (RA) of each genus was calculated by the ratio of genera count divided by total detectable bacteria count expressed as a percentage. Each patient completed the Bioscreen Patient Questionnaire and the Impact Score (severity x frequency: range 0-16) are shown for the 88 individual items. Scores for the 13 ME/CFS factors are presented.
