Modelling Mechanical Properties of Thermoplastic Polyurethanes through Laser Sintering Exposure for Replicating Micrometric Aortic Valve Membranes

This research investigates the use of Selective Laser Sintering (SLS) with Thermoplastic Polyurethane (TPU) in additive manufacturing to produce fine sub-millimeter aortic valve structures with specific properties. By adjusting exposure parameters, including energy density, laser power, scanning speed, and scan line distance, the study achieves a balance between flexibility and resistance.
