This folder contains Environmental Scanning Electron Microscopy images of pure peptide electrospun fibers. This technique enables the observation and quantification of fiber morphological changes due to increased humidity (wetting, dissolution, swelling). By gradually increasing the water vapor pressure in the ESEM chamber, the humidity was raised accordingly. ESEM provided real-time imaging of the fibers during this humidity rise. Once the humidity reached 100%, stability tests, such as monitoring dissolution, were performed. This experiment was performed on the peptides DOPA-Phe(4F)-Phe(4F)-OMe and DOPA-Phe(4F)-Phe(4F)-Arg-Gly-Asp-CONH2.
