This dataset is generated through calculation and analysis of medical delivery waybill data collected from the Dora Medical Delivery platform, including shipping and receiving addresses, cargo names, selected vehicle types, waybill mileage, cargo weight and other relevant metrics. A vehicle demand index is calculated for each medical delivery vehicle type based on predefined algorithmic rules, which roughly reflects the demand scale of the corresponding vehicle type in the Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Shanghai (JZS) region. The company can use this index to determine the daily number of available vehicles of each type, including both owned vehicles and recruited drivers of corresponding vehicle types joining the Dora Medical Delivery platform, so as to improve order acceptance efficiency, customer experience and satisfaction. Moreover, releasing this vehicle demand index can help relevant transportation enterprises and individual transporters make adequate preparations, which facilitates the healthy development of the scattered medical delivery market in this region. The dataset construction process includes four parts: 1. Data Collection: Data is collected by the Dora Medical Delivery platform, updated daily and aggregated monthly. 2. Data Processing: The company's business management department conducts aggregation, classification, organization and error-checking on the collected data. 3. Data Analysis: First, aggregate the number of times the target vehicle type was selected (A), total mileage (B) and total cargo weight (C) over the past three months.
