According to a recent U.S. survey in 2023, coffee cake was the most liked coffee-based dish, with over half of the survey respondents saying they enjoy the dish. Of all generations, the share was highest among Gen X. 66 percent of Gen X consumers surveyed named coffee cake as their favorite dish.
