This project aims to improve our knowledge about molybdenum speciation in hydrothermal fluids that are responsible for ore deposit formation. The obtained results will contribute to a quantitative description of the role of S3•- ion in molybdenum transport and ore deposition. In situ data on the molybdenum speciation in alkaline fluids depending on the silica content at various conditions will allow to better assess the thermodynamic models of molybdenum transport at high TP in natural systems.
