A Sertoli cell specific knockout of retinoblastoma protein (SC-RbKO) results in a complete disruption of spermatogenesis in mice. In this project the SC-RbKO mice were cross-bred with E2F3 floxed mice to see if a double knockout would rescue the phenotype associated with RB loss. Overall design: Gene expression analysis by Targeted RNA-sequencing between SC-E2F3KO and Wild type at 2 and 5 months old testes and among SC-Rb-/-E2F3+/+, SC-Rb-/-E2F3+/-, SC-Rb-/-E2F3-/- and Wild type at 2,5 months old testes were performed.
