VPRS 15869 Photographic Collection (GRS 1163)

This record series comprises a collection of photographic negatives, slides, colour transparencies and photographs about subjects within Geelong and the region.The photographs are arranged in paper envelopes, plastic sleeves and manila folders. The photographs are in both black and white and colour. They are controlled by a sequential numbering system. The photographs include the name of the subject and the date on which the photograph was taken.An index and a register have been produced to provide access to the series. They are to be found at the beginning of Unit 1. The register, described as an Index, provides the number of the photograph(s), the subject, the format of the photograph and the date when it was taken. The Index is arranged alphabetically by subject or locality.
