资源简介:
Southwestern China Catalog (SWC):The Southwestern China Catalog (SWC), maintained by the China Earthquake Data Center (CEDC), provides earthquake data for the Sichuan–Yunnan region. This catalog spans the period from 1970 to 2021 and includes events with magnitudes M ≥ 3.0. The total number of events in the SWC catalog is approximately 11,580.Key historical sequences in the catalog include the 2008 M 8.0 Wenchuan earthquake and the 2013 M 7.0 Lushan earthquake. The catalog has been used extensively for seismic hazard analysis and earthquake forecasting in the region.Anninghe–Zemuhe–Daliangshan–Xiaojiang Fault System Simulated Catalog (AZDX):The AZDX synthetic seismic catalog is generated for the Anninghe–Zemuhe–Daliangshan–Xiaojiang fault system, representing one of the major fault structures within the SWC region. This catalog is produced using a quasi-static, physics-based earthquake simulator, Virtual Quake, applying the Coulomb failure criterion. The fault slip rates are constrained by GPS data, and friction values are derived from laboratory experiments. The catalog spans a period of 20,000 years, simulating seismic events with a completeness magnitude of M ≈ 4.5. This catalog simulates a total of approximately 136,450 events. The spatial distribution of large earthquakes, b-value, and mean seismic rate in the simulated catalog closely match observations in the SWC region. Notably, the mean intervals between earthquakes of magnitude M ≥ 7.0 for the Anninghe, Zemuhe, Daliangshan, and Xiaojiang faults are 299, 867, 478, and 618 years, respectively. This synthetic catalog provides valuable long-term seismic hazard assessments.Southern California Seismic Network Catalog (SCEDC):The Southern California Seismic Network (SCSN) maintains a comprehensive earthquake catalog for the region, covering data from 1932 to 2022. For this analysis, data from 1981 to 2020 were used, with a minimum completeness magnitude of Mc = 2.0.This catalog includes key historical events such as the 1952 M 7.5 Kern County earthquake and the 1992 M 7.3 Landers earthquake, as well as significant sequences like the 1999 M 7.1 Hector Mine and 2019 Ridgecrest events. The total number of events in the SCEDC catalog is approximately 125,670.Quake Template Matching Catalog for Southern California (QTM):The SCSN also contributed to the QTM catalog, which is a region-wide template matching analysis. This catalog, covering 2008 to 2017, allows for a significant increase in earthquake density, with a completeness magnitude of Mc = 0.3. The QTM catalog is particularly useful for high-density regions like the Salton Sea and San Jacinto fault zones. The total number of events in the QTM Salton Sea catalog is approximately 44,130.
