The features subtending visual object recognition

This dataset contains the complete stimuli and data associated with the study The features subtending visual object recognition (Arguin et al., submitted to Vision Research, 2026). The archive includes five compressed files, each corresponding to one experiment.

Each archive contains: (1) images of the experimental objects, (2) a MATLAB file (“aperture_centres.mat”) specifying the possible aperture coordinates within the images, and (3) two folders containing individual participant raw data (trial-level “allData” matrices) and z-scored classification images. The dataset enables replication of the analyses examining the visual features involved in object recognition.
