资源简介:
Here we present the X-ray fluorescence (XRF) scanned intervals from sediment cores from Vestnesa Ridge, eastern Fram Strait in the Arctic. The cores were retrieved from site U1618 on the International Ocean Discovery Program (IODP) Expedition 403, Eastern Fram Strait Paleoarchive. The expedition took place between June 4 and August 2, 2024. XRF scanning was conducted on the first ~85 m of the record from this site, all of which represent Quaternary deposition. XRF scanning took place post-cruise in the boreal fall of 2024 using the fourth generation Avaatech XRF core scanner at the IODP Gulf Coast Repository, College Station, Texas. Records for downcore elemental abundance were obtained at sampling intervals of approximately 5 cm. Data presented here have been quality controlled and are described in Libman-Roshal, Duxbury et al. (under review).
