Statistical Area Level 4 (SA4) information for NSW Government schools

This data set contains Statistical Area Level 4 (SA4) information on all NSW Government schools, including schools that have received a status of ‘Not operational’ since 2010. \r\n\r\n**Data Notes:**\r\n\r\n* List includes schools that are currently open or haven't been operational since 2010. Status "Other" may refer to school who have gone through a merger/demerger process.\r\n* Not Operational includes schools that:\r\n - on that year had the last teacher withdrawn.\r\n - have entered in recess, but may still reopen in the future.\r\n* Year refers to the year the last teacher was withdrawn, not actual dates that the schools were gazetted as closed following Ministerial decisions. \r\n* SA4 refers to the ABS Australian Statistical Geography Standard (ASGS) Edition 3 Statistical Area 4 (SA4) - 2021. \r\n\r\n**Data source:**\r\nEducation Statistics and Measurement, Centre for Education Statistics and Evaluation.\r\n
