this data provides post-processed cmip6 data. the dataset includes annually-averaged timeseries of the (1) atlantic meridional overturning circulation and (2) northward heat transport at 26.5°n, 30°n, 35°n, 40°n, 45°n, 50°n, 55°n, and 60°n, the (3) basin-wide integrated air-sea heat fluxes in the north atlantic north of the respective latitudes, (4) basin-wide averaged sea surface temperatures of the subpolar gyre region as defined by caesar et al. (2018), and globally-averaged (5) sea surface temperatures and (6) surface atmospheric temperatures. timeseries are provided for the historical simulations, the ssp1-2.6 and ssp5-8.5 simulations, and the corresponding picontrol simulations. the years in the picontrol simulations correspond to the respective years in the historical and ssp simulations. for more details, please see terhaar et al.
