Danish Gallup Omnibus Data, 1978 comprises 24 omnibus surveys carried out by the Danish Gallup Institute in 1978. #Each of the surveys contains a number of recurring questions as well as a number of special questions (concerning topical events). The present survey is a year file based on the recurring questions of all the surveys. #The questions common to all 1978 omnibuses are: the respondent's reading habits as regards newspapers, weeklies, fortnightlies, and monthlies; cinema visits; use of public transport; party preference; durables; smoking habits; degree of urbanization; sex; age; marital status; number of persons (children, adults) in household; type of dwelling; the respondent's occupation, education, income; occupation, education and form of wages of the head of household; occupation of the housewife; and total income of household. # #The special questions deal with such issues as: # #Omnibus no. 01 (DDA-0334): #Lowering of the electoral age in Denmark from 20 to 18;
