TRANSFORMATIONAL FEATURES OF MIGRATION PROCESSES IN UZBEKISTAN

This article investigates the current state of migration processes in Uzbekistan and examines their evolving trends. The findings indicate that the intensification of labour migration has transformed Uzbekistan into an active participant in both international labour migration and the global labour market. Furthermore, the study offers a sociological analysis of the cyclical dynamics of labour migration, highlighting periods of both expansion and decline. The article also presents a scientific analysis of the key factors driving migration processes in the country and assesses their socio-economic consequences. Particular attention is devoted to the legal regulation of migration alongside the need for comprehensive monitoring and governance of migration flows. The conclusions presented are based on comparative analyses conducted using official statistical data and the findings of sociological research undertaken by the author.
