资源简介:

This dataset includes the data used to generate all figures in the article, Considering contact forces during the formation of planetesimals by gravitational collapse: mutual orbits, spin states, and shapes. Data is organized by subdirectories associated with each figure and the CSV files which can be used to reproduce them as exactly as they are in the published material. The text file, "README_Figure_data.txt", provides a detailed table with essential information that will aid in the reproduction of each figure. The table is separated into six different columns. Below is a description of each column of the table with examples (examples are based on Figure 3 from the article, which includes three subfigures (a), (b), and (c)). "Figure" provides the figure number. Ex: Fig. 3 "File name(s)" lists the files associated with the generating each figure Ex: fig_3_ang_vel.csv & fig_3_contact_phys.csv "Description" provides an explanation of what is plotted in the figure. If the files have been subdivided based on suite or data type, "Description" also provides information as to which file belongs to which subfigure or datatype. Ex: The cumulative number of planetesimals with a given equivalent diameter. Data has been subdivided into two file suites for three subfigures (a,b,c): (a) angular velocity --> fig_3_ang_vel.csv (b,c) contact physics --> fig_3_contact_phys.csv where (b) f = 0.4 and (c) f = 1.0. "x-axis" is the x-axis label provided in the published material Ex: Diameter (km) "y-axis" is the y-axis label provided in the published material Ex: Cumulative Number "Data included (header)" provides essential information about the content of each column for a given CSV file. This includes the names of the label for each column in the associated CSV file and a short description with associated units (if not unitless). The description is also subdivided by suite or data type. Ex: (a) angular velocity ang_vel: cloud rotation rate scale factor, f (0.2 - 1.2) D_eq_km: equivalent diameter in km cumul_num: cumulative number of planetesimals (b) contact physics ang_vel: cloud rotation rate scale factor, f (0.4 or 1.0) rest: coeff. of restitution, ε (e0.5 or e0.9) frict: coeff. of friction, µ (u0.0 or u0.5) D_eq_km: equivalent diameter in km cumul_num: cumulative number of planetesimals
