Genome sequence of Lactococcus formosensis MT-2. Lactococcus formosensis

Lactococcus formosesis is a major pathogenic bacterium in Japan fish farm. In this project, we determined the complete genome sequence of the atypical L. formosesis MT-2 strain isolated in 2016. MT-2 is non-pathogenic and we will compare the genome sequence of this bacterium with pathogenic strains to identify virulence factors.
