Genome survey analysis of five bombus species using short-read based WGS analysis

We performed a whole genome shotgun (WGS) analysis on ten different Bombus species. This project involved a genome survey of five existing species and the de novo sequencing of five specific species: B. haematurus, B. argillaceus, B. armeniacus, B. fragrans, and B. zonatus. This short-read based approach will provide a comprehensive overview of the genetic diversity within these key pollinator species.
