To examine the alteration of biological pathways in response to ADAM8-inactivation, an unbiased approach comparing the transcriptome of IVDs in the mutant and WT mice was used. Messenger RNA was isolated from the Adam8EQ and wild type mouse IVDs, and bulk RNAseq was performed followed by transcriptomics data analysis.
