Maternal Ever-smoking is Associated with an Increased Risk of Atopic Dermatitis in the Offspring in a Dose–response Relationship

The association between smoking during pregnancy and the development of atopic dermatitis (AD) in offspring has been studied. However, the association between maternal smoking before pregnancy and the development of allergic diseases in offspring is rarely studied. This study aimed to evaluate whether maternal ever-smoking status increases the risk of AD in offspring.
