This project is focused on studying the whole transcriptomics of B. burgdorferi throughout its enzootic cycle. We performed RNAseq on wild type and RpoS-related mutants cultivated within DMCs implanted in rat peritoneal cavities and infecting Ixodes scapularis nymphs. Samples were enriched for Borrelia-specific reads using BacCapRNAseq.
