资源简介:
This metadata entry refers to measurements of oceanic carbon dioxide made by Peter Williams and oceanic ammonium made by Graham Savidge during the RRS Discovery 182 research cruise, as part of the Biogeochemical Ocean Flux Study (BOFS), in the North Atlantic. The cruise began on 10th May 1989 and ended on 5th June 1989 with the spatial coverage of +46N and +60N latitude and +18W and +21W longitude.
The data set consists of:
-82 measurements of the concentration of carbon (total inorganic) (TCO2) per unit volume of the water column (dissolved plus reactive particulate phase) by coulometry; and
-59 measurements of the concentration of ammonium (NH4) per unit volume of the water column (dissolved plus reactive particulate phase) by colorimetric autoanalysis.
See below for further details.
