Hydro-Climatic Variability and Its Implications on Soil and Water Security in Kenya’s Tana Delta

This dataset supports the research article titled “Hydro-Climatic Variability and Its Implications on Soil and Water Security in Kenya’s Tana Delta.” It contains long-term hydro-climatic data, remote sensing indices, and socio-economic survey results used to analyze water security and livelihood impacts in the Tana Delta region. The dataset includes: Rainfall records (1993–2023): Monthly and annual rainfall data from meteorological stations. NDWI and NDVI trends (1995–2023): Satellite-derived vegetation and water indices showing spatiotemporal variability.
