资源简介:
Two Radiometrics MP-3000A Microwave Radiometers (MWRs) were deployed during the Chequamegon Heterogeneous Ecosystem Energy-balance Study Enabled by a High-density Extensive Array of Detectors (CHEESEHEAD) experiment. Also included in this dataset are the thermodynamic profile data derived from the MWR data (and other data input sources) using an optimal estimation-based physical retrieval algorithm. The thermodynamic MWR profilers continuously observe air temperature, humidity and liquid features that define local weather. These two MWRs have 21 K-band (22 to 30 GHz) channels, and 14 V-band (51 to 59 GHz) channels. Data from three sites in Wisconsin (Prentice, Lakeland, and ISS | Tall Tower) are included in this dataset. Note that the frequency of the data collection for MWR was ~2-3 minutes while the frequency for the thermodynamic retrievals is 10 minutes. Please see the documentation for more information including details on MWR calibrations, the optimal estimation-based physical retrieval algorithm and its data input sources, and file formats.
