Role of histone chaperones in the nucleosome dynamics induced by long heat shock exposure in Arabidopsis thaliana

Long-term heat shock exposure of A. thaliana plants has been reported to affect nucleosomal occupancy at genes and transposable elements (Pecinka et al., Plant Cell, 2010). In this study, we investigated genome-wide H3 occupancy using H3-ChIP seq after normalization with Drosophila chromatin spike-in wild type plants and plants lacking HIRA or FAS1, subunits of the HIRA or CAF-1 complex respectively, or ASF1A and ASF1B. The sample set includes duplicates of H3-ChIP experiments in WT, hira, fas1 and asf1a1b mutants as well as the respective input samples.
