The Brazilian Genetic Database of the X-BGBX Chromosome was developed with the purpose of compiling the population genetic data published for X-STRs in the Brazilian population and assisting in forensic practice, generating another useful tool for the Technical-Scientific Police, Laboratories DNA and the Academic Community.
The database contains published and indexed data in the PubMed database and is composed of different sections, in which information can be obtained on the X-STR markers studied in the Brazilian population, such as: allelic and haplotype frequencies, statistical parameters of forensic interest, information of primers mentioned in the literature, as well as location and allelic structure of the X-STRs.
