Grain size of seafloor sediments, Western Black Sea, DOORS Cruise 2 (leg-2) (MN249)

The dataset contains data on the distribution of grain size fractions Holocene and Upper Pleistocene seafloor sediments of the Western Black Sea (Romanian and Bulgarian EEZ) collected during DOORS cruise 2 (leg2), (MN249), 2023. Sampling was performed using Van Veen Grab, multicorer and gravity сorer from seafloor depths from 72 m to 1162 m. The analyses were performed using Mastersizer 2000 diffractometers without taking into account the fraction > 2 mm. Various methods of particle pre-dispersion were applied, as shown in specific data sets.
