STATION Database SQL Dump

This product represents the database schema of the STATION (Seismic sTATion and sIte amplificatiON) service (https://distav.unige.it/rsni/station2025.php; Tarchini et al., 2024), a web-based platform for the dissemination and exchange of seismological products related to seismic stations. The schema documents the structure adopted to store earthquake metadata, station information, and waveform-derived products used for seismic station and site characterization.

The database schema provides a clear description of how seismological information—such as local magnitude (Ml) estimates, Ml residuals, ground-motion parameters, and spectral products computed on S-phase and noise windows—is organized and related within the service. While the schema reflects the structure used in the operational STATION database, the actual data content is not distributed as part of this product.

The dataset is distributed as a PostgreSQL (https://www.postgresql.org/) database dump and is organized into four main tables, described in detail below.

eventi: earthquake catalog and event metadata.

stazioni: seismic station metadata and aggregated station-level products.

eventi_staz: event–station measurements and waveform-derived products.

parametri: processing parameters used for spectral analyses.
