Number of people taking hepatitis B and C tests at municipalities Japan FY 2022

Around 564 thousand hepatitis B (HBV) tests and 563.3 thousand hepatitis C (HCV) tests were conducted at Japanese municipalities in the fiscal year 2022. Of those tests, around three thousand cases returned as hepatitis B positive, and nearly one thousand cases returned as most likely hepatitis C positive.
