This article analyzes the essence and interconnectedness of socio-psychological determinants that influence the development of metacommunicative competence in future officers. The growing complexity of military professional activity and various situations arising in management and communication processes require officers to possess not only effective communication skills, but also metacommunicative skills related to analyzing, evaluating, and managing the communication process. The article theoretically substantiates the role of interpersonal relations, social support, psychological stability, reflective ability, and motivational factors in the development of metacommunicative competence. Furthermore, the interaction of these determinants and their impact on the effectiveness of the professional training of future officers are highlighted.
