Bee specimens were collected in these agricultural landscapes of Central Chile (33°14′W). In agricultural areas comprise a mosaic of fruit crops (mainly citrus, avocado, strawberry, melon, tomato and apple) interspersed with semi-natural habitats, including sclerophyllous forest and shrubland dominated by evergreen species such as Lithraea caustica, Baccharis paniculata and Colliguaja odorifera.
