Codes and data for: "Influence of surface electron scattering on subgap states in helical atom chains on a superconductor"

This repository contains the codes and data for reproducing Figures 2-6 presented in the article "Influence of surface electron scattering on subgap states in helical atom chains on a superconductor" by A. O. Baranov and A. A. Bespalov. Files with names starting with "Fig2" can be used to reproduce the 4 panels in Figure 2. The vertical lines in the first panel correspond to q=-2.8219, q=-2.4056, q=2.4056 and q=2.8219. The files Fig3a_gap.txt and Fig3b_gap.txt contain the spectral gap profiles for Figures 3a and 3b, respectively. Fig3a_Majorana.txt and Fig3b_Majorana.txt containes the dependences of the Majorana number on a, which are used in these figures. Files with names containing "black" (e. g., Fig4a_black.txt) and "red" (e. g., Fig4a_red.txt) can be used to reproduce the black and red lines, respectively, in Figure 4. The files Fig5a.txt and Fig5b.txt contain Python codes cretaed in Jupyter Notebook, which were used to produce the data necessary for Figure 5. The output eps file were edited in Incscape without modifying the data. The file Fig6.txt contains the Python code that was used to produce the data for Figure 6.
