The Advisory Committee of the Former Explosives Factory Area ballarat was one of the Committees working as part of VA 4151 Central Planning Authority and the Division of State Development to encourage development in regional Victoria and promote the decentralisation of industry. The main purpose of this Committee was to oversee the conversion of the former explosives factory area to other industrial uses and eventually arranging for its lease by or sale to other industrial users.
