This dataset comprises a subset of the 2017 Home Mortgage Disclosure Act (HMDA) dataset, specifically the portions for the states of New York and Texas, which contain 244,107 and 576,978 samples respectively. Additionally, the dataset has been preprocessed, and a standalone software package is provided to enable users to conduct easy exploration. Boasting over 100 million data samples, the dataset is large-scale and distributed as large-sized files. The downstream task associated with this dataset is fair binary classification.
