A fundamental property of any astronomical source is its flux density. The new Parkes ultra-widebandwidth receiver is ideal for studying pulsar profiles and measuring flux densities over wide bands. We have identified pulsars that can be observed by Parkes, but have no flux density measurements in the catalogue. Our proposal is simple - we wish to measure the pulsar flux densities, publish them and then later use those measurements to study pulsar populations, luminosities and to aid planning new pulsar surveys and commissioning activities.
