Dataset of Figure recognition and visual attention patterns behind the observation of Palaeolithic art

This dataset consists of the set up and experimental data used in the article of the same name. These data include two eye-tracking experiments carried out between February and July 2024 at the Material Minds Lab, a scientific-technical infrastructure developed within the XSCAPE project, at the Instituto de Ciencias del Patrimonio (INCIPIT, CSIC). In addition to the raw data on the visual behaviour of each participant, the stimuli used and their related archaeological information are included. These data allowed us to analyse the visual perception of Palaeolithic art in different iconic caves.
