CTD, bottle, and other data were collected from the Gulf of Alaska from the ALPHA HELIX from 01 December 2000 to 14 April 2001. Data include profiles of temperature, salinity, sigma-theta, fluorescence, transmissivity, and Photosynthetic Active Radiation (PAR). Data were submitted by the University of Alaska - Fairbanks; Institute of Marine Science (UAK/IMS) as part of the Global Ocean Ecosystems Dynamic (GLOBEC) project.
