McMurdo Dry Valleys Stream Transects - Anhydrobiosis of Nematodes

Investigation of the effect of hydrological and biogeochemical linkages in the transition zone between streams and surrounding soils on invertebrate community structure as part of the McMurdo Dry Valleys Long Term Ecological Research (LTER) project. The invertebrate community structure with relation to soil moisture, salinity, and chlorophyll-a was determined. The study took place on 28 November 1997 and 31 December 1997.作为麦克默多干谷长期生态研究（Long Term Ecological Research, LTER）项目的组成部分，本研究探究了溪流与周边土壤之间过渡带的水文及生物地球化学关联对无脊椎动物群落结构的影响。研究测定了无脊椎动物群落结构与土壤湿度、盐度及叶绿素a之间的关联特征。本研究于1997年11月28日及1997年12月31日开展。
