Seaweeds records from Argentina and Uruguay

Seaweeds inventory includes the species recorded on the coast of Uruguay and Argentina. These records combine data obtained from scientific papers, technical reports, databases and personal communications provided by specialists. Georeferences are consigned as latitudinal and longitudinal ranks when a continuous distribution is assumed, and with data-points in case of discontinuous distribution. The validity of seaweed taxa reported was checked with Algae Base (Guiry and Guiry, 2009) in order to update species names or higher taxonomic levels.本海藻名录收录了乌拉圭与阿根廷沿海记录的海藻物种。本数据集整合了来自学术论文、技术报告、各类数据库以及专家私人交流提供的相关数据。当假设物种呈连续分布时，地理参考信息以纬度带与经度带的形式标注；若为间断分布，则采用数据点形式标注。为更新物种名称及高级分类阶元，本数据集依托藻类数据库（Algae Base，Guiry与Guiry，2009）对所报道的海藻分类群的有效性进行了核验。
