Photograph of construction of the Colorado River Aqueduct, ca.1930. Men in lightly-colored shirts, hard hats, stained pants and rain boots stand around the back of a machine which runs along the tracks that lie beneath it. The machine has a circular ring on the back and what appears to be an appendage on the front. Two pipes extend on the right side of the jagged tunnel the men work in while lines of small lights hang along the left side.
