Raw sequencing reads from Butterfield and Lajoie, et al. Nature (2017) Evolution of a Designed Protein Assembly Encapsulating its Own RNA Genome.Sequencing was used to evaluate variants exhibiting improved fitness for in vitro (nuclease resistance, blood resistance) or in vivo (circulation time in living mice) selections. Additionally, sequencing was used to evaluate the RNAs encapsulated by synthetic nucleocapsids.
