Field data for depth inversion: Mallipo Beach, South Korea, 13–14 December 2024

This dataset contains field measurements collected at Mallipo Beach, South Korea, on 13–14 December 2024. The site is a macrotidal sandy beach with a spring tidal range of 4.7 m and an intertidal width varying from nearly 750 m at low tide to less than 10 m at high tide. Wave data were recorded using a current profiler (SG) and a single-point current meter (AQ), both equipped with pressure sensors. Ten 10-minute UAV videos were acquired to capture the spatial wave field. The footage was corrected for lens distortion, rectified, stabilized, and georeferenced using ground control points. A low-tide photogrammetric survey produced a high-resolution digital terrain model of the nearshore zone. The dataset provides synchronized wave field video, in situ wave data, and topographic information for nearshore process analysis.
