FATIMA Campaign: Irgason Center Tower TKE and Visibility Record, July 2022

Turbulence kinetic energy (TKE) and visibility data collected at the Center Tower during the FATIMA (Fog and Turbulence Interactions in the Marine Atmosphere) field campaign, July 2022. Variables:- TKE_month: 1 Hz TKE time series computed from Irgason sonic anemometer at 2 m height [m²/s²]- time_month: corresponding datetime array (UTC)- Viz_month: FD70 forward-scatter visibility at 1/15 Hz [m]- time_viz: corresponding datetime array (UTC)- fog_ind: indices defining fog event lifecycle stages (formation, duration, dissipation) for 28 identified events- ref_ind: indices defining no-fog event reference cases for 7 identified eventsData collection was supported by Grant N00014-21-1-2296 (Fatima Multidisciplinary University Research Initiative) of the Office of Naval Research, administered by the Marine Meteorology and Space Program.
