Global age-stratified greenspace exposure, exposure inequality and age-matched DALY datasets, 2020

This dataset contains processed global age-stratified greenspace exposure and exposure inequality estimates for 2020. Greenspace exposure was assessed using age-stratified WorldPop population data and ESA WorldCover 2020 greenspace data at approximately 100-m spatial resolution, with exposure evaluated within a 500-m neighborhood. Estimates are provided for children (0–14 years), working-age adults (15–64 years), older adults (≥65 years), and the total population. Age-stratified greenspace exposure estimates are provided at country, state and county levels based on the FAO Global Administrative Unit Layers (GAUL) 2015 boundaries. Country-level greenspace exposure inequality was quantified using Gini coefficients for 156 countries. The deposited files include country-, state- and county-level exposure datasets, a country-level Gini dataset, and a detailed data-description file. These processed datasets support the analyses reported in the associated study on global age-stratified greenspace exposure inequality and its health implications.
