17beta-estradiol degrading Rhodococcus sp. strain EsD8. Rhodococcus sp. EsD8 isolate:EsD8

Whole genome of Rhodococcus sp. strain EsD8 was sequenced with Illumina Hiseq2000. Contigs are assembled with CLC Genomics workbench version 5.5.1. De novo assembly parameters: bubble size 62, minimum contig length 1000, similarity fraction 0.95. Other parameters used were defaults (mismatch cost 2, insertion cost 3, deletion cost 3, length fraction 0.5, automatic word size). 287 contigs that have length longer than 1000 nt were selected. The contigs were submitted to RAST server for annotation. Resulting pseudo-EMBL file with RAST annotation was edited with a Python script to make it compatible with EMBL guidelines.
