Transcriptions and Thematic Coding of University Students' Learning Journals on the Corners Method (2025)

This dataset includes anonymized transcriptions of reflective learning journals written by undergraduate students after participating in a university teaching intervention using the corners method. The dataset also contains the qualitative coding applied to the transcriptions using an inductive thematic analysis approach.The data were collected from a sample of 44 undergraduate students enrolled in the Early Childhood Education degree at a Spanish public university. These students took part in a teaching intervention that adapted the corners method—typically used in early education—to a higher education context. All participants provided informed consent for their anonymized responses to be used for research purposes.
